How to Create a Flyer Without the Flyer Printing Service

By Korilynn Shaw

A professional flyer printing service can be an asset to many companies, but with the decline in the economy, there are a lot of company's that just can't afford to hire a professional flyer printing service. Flyers are the new way to advertise, but with limited cost to the company trying to get the word out.

For example, a company looking to send out high-quality brochures to vendors and potential customers will spend up to $600.00 for a 1,000 brochures. When it comes using flyers, a company will be able to send out a high-quality flyer for a fraction of the cost. A company can easily create a professional looking flyer without the use of a flyer printing service, but there are specifics that make a flyer look professional or handmade.

The Content
When you use a professional flyer printing service, they will typically take your ideas, message and product information and properly place the content to make it the most effective to consumers that read it. The content is not only the way to get your message across to potential customers, but it is also something that plays into the overall design of your flyer. Effective content should be:
• Clear
• Properly Spelled and with Good Grammar
• Precise and to the Point
• Gives Enough Detail to Keep Them Interested

Remember that the content of your flyer needs to give enough detail to get the point of your service or product across, but does not have to be overly detailed. An effective summary is just about all you need.

Create a Statement
A flyer printing service can take your content and create a statement for consumers to remember. This statement can be made through the style of your flyer, the content and even the photos that are on it. You want people to glance at your flyer and remember it or at least the company name. If they glance at it and nothing catches their eye, they are not going to contact your company later for more information.
